The agency contributes to improving the business climate in Togo and aims to generate socio-economic benefits for the Togolese population. Created in June 2019, the Agency is authorized to carry out public service missions in Togo and abroad related to the promotion of investments in Togo. The API-ZF is placed under the supervision of the Presidency of the Republic. The Ministry of Investment Promotion is responsible for operationalizing the agency, which must implement the investment code in the Togolese Republic, the status of the industrial free zone, and any other special economic regime. In this capacity, the Agency carries out the functions assigned to the Free Zone Administration Company (SAZOF).<\/p>\n
The Agency's vision is to make Togo the destination of choice for any investor through: As part of the implementation of the investment promotion policy and in order to increase the contribution of the national and international private sector to the creation of inclusive and sustainable wealth, API-ZF is the single gateway for any investor in Togo with the mission of ensuring the promotion of foreign direct investment (FDI) and national direct investment (NDI).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t \t\t In carrying out its missions, to fully ensure its role, API-ZF undertakes to:<\/span><\/p>\n \u2013 Present to investors attractive business opportunities related to their activities, for the purpose of establishing or expanding their investments in Togo.<\/p>\n \u2013 Provide investors with precise, detailed and exhaustive information on the administrative procedures enabling them to make their investments.<\/p>\n \u2013 Support investors in the installation, operationalization and expansion of their activities.<\/p>\n \u2013 Provide investors with the attractive and incentive advantages offered by the current investment code.<\/p>\n \u2013 Allow economic operators whose economic activities are export-oriented to enjoy the benefits of the free zone.<\/p>\n \u2013 Facilitate administrative procedures and steps by establishing a single window including all the services required to quickly implement their installation and facilitate their operation.<\/p>\n \u2013 Provide post-investment service to support them in the operationalization and development of their activities.<\/p>\n \u2013 Provide a framework for consultation to share their experiences, identify their specific needs and inform them of progress in terms of the business climate and investment opportunities.<\/p>\n \u2013 Contribute to the constant improvement of the business climate in Togo.<\/p>\n The Investment Promotion and Free Zone Agency (API-ZF) has improved its operational model to better promote Togo as a destination and attract more investors. Designed after a consultation with 41 public and private institutions, the new model, which outlines the agency's mission, will enable the API-ZF to better fulfill its role as a cross-functional body, taking into account all sectors of activity. This approach is also in line with Togo's ambitions, contained in its five-year roadmap, notably that of maintaining the progress made in recent years in the business climate and attracting FDI.\u00a0<\/p>\n The web portals www.investirautogo.tg and\u00a0<\/p>\n www.apizf.tg, exclusively dedicated to investment, aims to support investors in accessing information.\u00a0<\/p>\n
